Your privacy matters deeply to us. PromiseDaily is built to encourage and uplift — not to collect, sell, or profit from your personal information. This policy explains clearly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1 Who We Are

2 What Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app experience:
- Account information — your email address when you create an account or sign in. Used solely to identify your account.
- App preferences — your selected mood, notification time, and favourite verses. Stored securely to personalise your experience.
- Streak data — your daily reading streak and last open date, stored locally on your device and in your account.
- Anonymous usage analytics — events such as app opened or verse shared, with no personally identifiable information, used only to improve the app.
3 How We Use Your Information
- To personalise your daily Bible promises based on your mood
- To send daily scripture reminders at your chosen time
- To save and restore your favourite verses and streak across devices
- To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns
4 Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, PromiseDaily schedules a notification on your device at your chosen time containing a Bible verse. You can disable notifications at any time in the app under Settings → Notifications or through your device's system settings.
5 Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your preferences and daily promises are also cached locally on your device so the app works offline.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
6 Third-Party Services
PromiseDaily uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication · supabase.com/privacy
- Expo (EAS) — app build and delivery infrastructure · expo.dev/privacy
No advertising networks or data brokers are used in PromiseDaily.
7 Children's Privacy
PromiseDaily is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@trideez.ca and we will delete it promptly.
8 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for notifications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email support@trideez.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
9 Account & Data Deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, email support@trideez.ca with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will permanently remove your data within 14 business days.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date below and notify you through the app where appropriate. Continued use of PromiseDaily after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
